Ans. Yes, UMU Ranchi provides lateral entry in Bachelor in Engineering and Diploma in Engineering except Mining.

Ques. How can I pay application fees?

Ques. How can I get the refund of my fees?

Ans. The university will refund the fees in accordance with the refund policy as shown in the table below:

Ques. What is the one-time registration fee?

Ans. The one-time registration fee for all the courses is INR 11,000 except the registration fee for B.Com, B.A (Hons.) English is INR 6,000 and INR 5,000 for a Diploma in MLT.

Ques. Does the UMU provide scholarships?

Ans. The university encourages participation of meritorious students by offering scholarships in the form of fee concession as per the following scheme. All students domiciled in Jharkhand are also given the benefit of such scholarships:

Merit-Based

30% for all male students enrolled in any program and having more than 80% marks in their qualifying examination.
20% for all male students enrolled in any program and having marks in the range of 70-80% in their qualifying examination.
All female students having more than 70% marks in their qualifying examination will be entitled to get a 30% scholarship. However, if a girl student gets marks between 60%-70%, she will get 20% scholarship.

Domicile Based

10% for students having domicile of Jharkhand and enrolled in any program.

Note(s):

These scholarships will be available for the entire duration of the program.
No scholarship shall be offered for diploma in pharmacy and bachelor in pharmacy program.
