• This course will give the students an international perspective of the theory and practice of accounting. It focuses on accounting standards and the impact of leading standard-setting authorities.
  • The students will investigate the links between different aspects of accounting, finance, management, and strategy, for example:
  1. financial accounting and reporting
  2. financial management
  3. management accounting and corporate governance
  4. accounting and management
  5. management and strategy
  • They will engage with contemporary debates, applying theory to real-world issues in accounting, finance, management, and strategy, and explore the challenges involved in applying these theories.
