Established in 1998, Zayed University is a government supported institution bearing the name of the nation’s founding President. The university has 2 campuses in the largest cities of UAE, Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The campus in Abu Dhabi became operational in 2011 and currently hosts nearly 6,000 students including approximately 70% females and 30% males. Nearly 4,000 students are enrolled at the Dubai campus of the Zayed University. The university annually enrolls over 10,000 students including international students from different parts of the world.

Zayed University offers around 35 undergraduate majors and minors and graduate degrees across 6 colleges. Being accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education provides international recognition for studying abroad. Programs of the university also have international accreditation from professional bodies such as Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International) for the College of Business programs, Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) for programs related to Information Technology and others. It was the first university outside the U.S. to receive NCATE accreditation. The university is a 4-star rated institution ranked among the top 20 universities in the Arab region in the QS Top Universities.

Zayed University Campus

The campuses of Zayed University are located in 2 locations - Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Zayed University has 3 campuses that include AUH Male campus, AUH Female campus and DXB Female campus.
The ZU AUH campus covers 77 hectares of land in Madinat Zayed.
The Madinat Zayed campus has state-of-the-art facilities including classrooms, meeting and breakout rooms, auditoriums with a capacity of up to 1,000 students, 5-floored library, cafeteria, retail spaces, fitness facilities, a half-size Olympic pool.
The university complex in Dubai is located at the Academic City - Al Ruwayyah covering 70 hectares of land.
The Academic City campus mainly has 6 buildings dedicated for Administration, Convention, Dining, Library, Academics and Gymnasium.

Zayed University Residence

Zayed University provides accommodation to international students at the Abu Dhabi campus within 5 to 10 minutes from the academic buildings.
Domestic students are not eligible for on-campus accommodation.
Single and double rooms are available for students in gender segregated residences.
Common facilities available in residence halls include dining halls, laundry rooms, gyms, mosque, TV, study room, Wi-Fi connectivity and recreational areas.
Each room has a mattress and bed, study desk, lamp, chair, free standing wardrobe and data port.
Resident students can take up part-time work opportunities within the university and earn some money.

Zayed University offers 17 bachelor’s degrees, 10 master’s degrees and 8 minors.
