The admission takes a lot of time here, spare a day for it ,the processes here are not online friendly, we can enter the colleges through many examinations like kcet, comedk and through managment , maximum of students opting this college are through KCET which is an wasy entance examinations that takes place in karnataka
The course taken by me takes the sight for future aspects makes the purpose of taking the degree from this esteemed university special, better than all this particular university holds its history for more than 70 years , the time they give us for preparing the examinations are exellent.
There are many internship opportunities which comes to our college for requirements, but this requires the benchmark of CGPA of the particular student , so students fail to aquire it , behalf of this nearly 15 percentage of students aquire the internships.
Due to recession going on the placements offerd to students are way less compared to past years , but there are other plans if it doesn't happen there are plans for off campus placements . The highest packages of this ywar are barely 12,00,000 all because of recession.
The total fees depends on how you will enter the campus,if you enter through a managment seat that takes around 2,15,000 rupees, for comedk-2,15,000 rupees and through KCET -1,15,000 .There is very less chance of getting an hike in the fees as it comes under VTU. All the scolourships are available which come under karnataka students
There are no such things available in this college the social conversation between other classnor department students are only through forum meets which takes place in every department in often gathering, and in anual gatherings l8ke DAVANA a annual meet .
All the faculty present here are qualified from one of the best universities , the student teacher ratio is 30:1 so there is no difficulties in understanding things from basic and mainly there are different staff for different purpose.
Students became eligible for placements after 6th semester. Compared to last year, the results of this year's placement were not good, probably due to the current market scenario. Only a few students got placed in companies this year, and, according to my current knowledge, the highest package received by a student this year was ?36lpa by a Japanese company, and the student is from Civil Engineering. This package is the highest package the college has ever received.
Students are eligible from 6th semester to placements. TCS, INFOSYS, DHOOT, ACCENTURE,VOLVO, FALABELLA, and many companies came to offer jobs. The placement % is about 60-70% students will get placed. The package is 14lpa and the average is 3.5lpa.
Coming to last year placement..they were down...many students here aren't placed .only the students from cse dept got placed and others had to search jobs outside of the campus irrespective of the placements.highest package last year was 25 lpa I guess not sure about that .iam currently planning to go into business after my btech
Placements are very good and are improving more and more....I recently got to know from my python professor that in our cse dept there are like companies like capegmini and phonepe training students for placement and they may select 60 for job...so yeah placements are good there are multiple companies always visiting our campus for placement drives... recently even oracle visited the campus and also conducted an interactive session for 1st and 4th year students how to approach a job
