Established in 1967, Lingnan University is a liberal arts university based in Hong Kong. It is one of the top 10 liberal arts institutes in Asia and a member of the Global Liberal Arts Alliance. The university offers UG, PG and PG research programs in Arts, Business, and Social Sciences. Lingnan University has established collaboration with various global institutes. It has 50% out of 180 international faculty in both academic and research. The university has 3,394 students enrolled for higher education in Hong Kong, out of which 2,612 are UG students, 702 are PG and the rest 80 students are enrolled in PG research programs.

Admissions at Lignan University are open till July 30, 2023. For the UG degree program, an ACT score of 23 or SAT score of 590 is accepted. The IELTS score varies for different PG programs and is about 6.0 and 6.5. UG degree in a related field along with good academics is important to get enrolled in any master’s course at Lingnan university.

The tuition fee of top programs of the university ranges from 110,000 HKD - 213,000 HKD. Lingnan University campus has a wide range of facilities from academic support services, students accommodation, services for alumni, library, IT service centre, sports clubs and other clubs, catering and others.

Service-Learning: The Office of Service-Learning offers courses to students to deliver meaningful services to the university’s community through their knowledge. The department collaborates with faculties of Arts, Science Unit, Business, and Social sciences to coordinate service-learning projects. OSL also organizes abroad programs in Kazakhstan, Uganda, Nepal, and Cambodia during the summer and winter sessions.
Arts & Culture: A wide range of arts and cultural events are organized by the Arts Faculty which introduces various forms of arts from other countries.

Lingnan University Accommodations

The Lingnan University provides residence facilities in 10 hostel blocks with 2,600 hostel places. Each hostel has a common room, residential floors, warden quarters, and rooms for senior tutors on the top floor. The University has 3 hostels in the Southern zone, Northern Zone, and 334 Hostels.
The Southern Hostel has 7 residential halls which are the William MW Mong Hall, The Bank of East Asia Hall, Tsung Tsin Association Hall, Fok Cho Min Hall, Chung Shun Yee Min Hall, and Lam Woo Hall.
Northern Hostels has only one residential hall in the Jockey Club Student Village.
334 Hostels of has 2 residential halls named Wong Chuen Hall and Wu Jieh Yee Hall.
The ground floors of the hostel are accommodated by male students and the upper floor is for females.
Almost every hostel room has a capacity of 2 students except the Wong Chuen and Wu Jieh Yee Hall.
The rooms are equipped with 2 beds, 2 cabinets, 2 desks, and chairs. The triple occupancy rooms have a bunk bed.
