Candidates can apply for under graduation or post-graduation courses via online mode, that is on the official website of the institution. The application process for 2020 is elaborated below point wise:

• Visit the official website of Calcutta Institute of Technology, i.e. http://cit.urschard.in/.
• Locate and tap on the tab which says “Contact Us”.
• Click on the link “Admission 2020-2021 APPLY ONLINE”
• Fill the form that gets displayed on another web page.
• The form has all the personal as well as academic details.
• While in the process of filling the application form, candidates are recommended not to refresh the web page, until it gets finally submitted.
• Do take a printout of the filled application form.
• Once the candidate is listed in the merit, which is announced online by college officials, they need to visit the campus in person.
• Candidates must have the following document when they visit the campus:
  • The application form number
  • Print out of the filled application form
  • 2 latest passport-sized photograph
  • A valid government identity proof (Aadhar card/voter id card/ PAN card/ driving license)
• Once admissions are confirmed, they must pay the fees before the last date.
• If the candidate fails to pay the fees, admission would be withdrawn.

Note: Candidates are expected to provide all the details correctly or else the college officials might get it all enquired and they might lose his/her candidature as per their rules and norms of the college.

Candidates should have passed graduation from a recognized university. Students are admitted by JECA conducted by the state.
