To support dependent wards of former Coast Guard and service members as well as their widows pursuing higher technical and professional education (below officer rank only). A total number of 5500 students will be selected equally for boys & girls (ie. 2750 each)\r\n\r\n Eligibility for PM Scholarships\r\n\r\n\r\n\t- Students studying in 2nd and subsequent years are not eligible.\r\n\t
- Students who are Dependent Wards \/ Widows of Ex Servicemen & Ex Coast Guard personnel who died in harness \/ disabled due to causes attributable to military service\/coast guard service, irrespective of the rank.\r\n\t
- Dependent wards of Ex Servicemen \/ Ex Coast Guard personnel and their widows (below officer rank only).\r\n\t
- Wards of Civilians including Para Military Personnel are NOT ELIGIBLE. \r\n\r\n\r\n
