The University of New England is an open university. Its campus is spread over 74 hectares all over the city of Armidale, its main campus is in northern central New South Wales.

University of New England Admission Process

The international students have to fulfill a few requirements to apply to the University of New England.
Application Portal: Students can apply online through the UNE application portal.
Application Fees: 40 AUD

Application Requirements

Students can apply for both online and offline courses. The second and third-trimester application is open now, and the closing date for the 2nd trimester is June 29th, 2023 and the 3rd trimester is 26th October 2023.
Students would need:
Official transcripts of all the previously attended institutions.
A valid Student Visa and Passport,
Letters of Recommendation.
CAS statement
Medical Certificates.
For undergraduate courses, the student must have an education qualification equivalent to Australian Year 12.
For Indian students, a Higher secondary school certificate with an average of 65% marks in the best 4 subjects (including English, if possible) is required.
For postgraduate courses, the student must have any education qualification comparable to an Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) bachelor’s degree.

Test Requirements for International Students

Admission to the University of New England for UG and PG courses requires English Language proficiency as it is the prime language of communication in the university. The University accepts English language tests like IELTS, TOEFL, and PTE. The applicants also need to sit for ACT or SAT examinations minimum scores required for admission are listed below:

The scores to ELP examinations should be within 2 years of the date of application for admission to the university.
The university considers the SAT essay section/ACT writing section an optional section and does not hold much importance during admissions.
The validity of the scores of any of the above examinations stays for a maximum of 5 years from the date of examination. Any submission after that would not be accepted.
