The admission process was easy and simple, we had to sit in a que, the office called in a handful people and the process turned out quick, they even signed an anti ragging form so that there's a safety in the students mind while joining the college. The staff was very cooperative and helped us making the whole admission process alot easier
The course curriculum is set in sucha way that it trains your mind to solve problems related to engineering world, they also emphasis on training the students to be more smart working and be more disciplined so that when they enter corporate they're not down ranged
Internship opportunities are good, they start from first year itself, we have to pay to enroll but you can learn a skill like coding in different languages or just take up side courses frequently and get a certificate, AICTE helps alot

The fees for government seat through KCET is around 70000 to 100000, so it is affordable for any student, where as the hostel fees is 89000 since it's located outside the campus, and due to this the amount can be compensated by scholarship, the college provides SSP scholarship initiated by government of Karnataka, there are other financial aid available for the students but they will have to contact admission office, Im from OBC-NCL category so for me the fees was around 70k for polymer science and technology engineering, it depends on the branch as well, suppose opting for CSE can cost upto 1lakh even for an OBC category, but where as my batchmate with SC/ST caste certificate pays the same fees as me for ISE, so it is good for students who require financial aid.
The clubs are good, from clubs only we get to go to other countries and compete with them, the college doesn't have so many fests which is very boring, one thing in mind while joining this college is, you don't get to experience that college fest or party kind of vibe, the college is decent and simple in that terms
The hostel facility is very bad for girls especially because first of all, for first year students and second year students, it's located 5.4kms away from the college, although there is bus facility it's still very risky, the food provided is tasteless, there's practically no freedom at all, you can't do anything after 7:30pm, you cannot sit outside also after 10pm, it's a jail, please don't get your kids a hostel in this college, the message hygiene is so bad, every week there's a new insect in the food.
The faculty members are trained professionals who have the full knowledge about the subject they teach, it is amazingly good and they're very chill regarding the students, understanding teachers of their students mindsets is rare, but JSS STU provides a good experience with teachers
